About Empowering Kids
We understand how confusing life can be after a diagnosis of autism.
We all want the best for our children, and the journey after a diagnosis can be overwhelming. Empowering Kids is a neurodiverse-affirming program that provides a variety of services for autistic individuals, AuDHDers, and ADHDers, as well as families and our local community. As one of the only non-profit neurodiverse programs located between Moorhead and Minneapolis, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality and affordable programming designed specifically for the individuals we serve.

Montessori Inclusive Preschool
The Montessori Method encourages students to follow their own curiosity at their own pace. This child-centered approach nurtures peaceful, caring citizens that are respectful of themselves and their surroundings.
Empowering relationships
EIDBI Services
Our 1:1 intensive services utilize DIRFloortime to highlight the power of relationships and emotional connections to fuel development so individuals can reach their fullest potential.
Empowering healthy minds
Mental Health Services
Our outpatient mental health services are for children from early childhood through adolescence to help them cope with a variety of stressors that impact their mental health. Services can include psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and case management.
Empowering connections
Social/Recreational Groups
Designed to cater to neurodivergent profiles, these afterschool and summer activities offer opportunities for social connection, community outings, and exploration of special interests.
Empowering Exploration
Employment & Independent Skills
Individuals will explore career opportunities and how to advocate for themselves to support a meaningful and fulfilling life beyond high school.
